    Description

    Very rare!
    In need of restoration.
    Valuable celluloid dolls dated from the 1910s.
    Those dolls are French made by "La Societe Industrielle du Celluloide", a company founded in 1887 and active mostly from 1900 to 1927.  It was bought later by SNF, Societe Nobel France.
    Those dolls were in my family so I can say for sure how old they are.
    Unfortunately, they are not whole any longer... Missing a few arms and legs.
    Those are antique, marked with SC 12 and either 2 or 3 stamped horizontally.
    The dolls were not made with much care, lots of pupils are very off centered.
    I did not and will not attempt to temper with them, I amsure a doll expert can.
    Those dolls have nice expression, all different. The faces are painted as well as the socks and shoes, with elastics holding the arms and legs
